We used the vouchers for lunch, €50 was quite sufficient. Whether you’re looking for a city getaway full of art and culture, a shopping tour or a great school trip, Estrel is the perfect home base for any occasion. The hotel is adjoined to the ECC (Estrel Congress Center), which covers a space of 269,000 sq ft – roughly the size of two football pitches – and houses more than 75 conference rooms providing the ideal conditions for an event of any kind and size. It is a false 'green' hotel; there are placards suggesting towels would be reused if placed on racks but they are replaced daily regardless, which is a shame. After breakfast we were shown the business computer centre so we could check in on our flights later in the day, not from Berlin but rather Hamburg. Other miscellaneous taxes and hotel fees which are not fixed or due at time of booking may be payable at the property at time of stay. The first cappuccino served had sour milk, the second lactose free milk...rooms ok, but overall, not my cup of tea...If you ever go to Berlin, please stay here!

Paid shuttle service How I found myself there was that my EasyJet flight was cancelled, so they put us up for free and meals included. The hotel staff is friendly, efficient and helpful.
