Staff is rude and hostile. As a bonus, their house beers are quite varied, especially for Germany. The waiters don't communicate with each other so we kept having to move tables until we were just told "no."
The story of Berlin’s first craft brewery began here, in the atmospheric train viaducts, and it is only a few steps away from where we still brew our beer today. I'm from America and in all my life I have never ever received such poor treatment from an establishment. The service was speedy and friendly, and they spoke perfect English.
I ordered the currywurst and my friend ordered the fried knackwurst, both dishes tasted so good. Welcome! Menu includes many traditional German dishes.Brauhaus Lemke was a place I was meaning to try when I first visited Berlin but I only put that right on the second visit.
The service was just terrible.
Near the market square, though a bit tricky to find without maps, is Brauhaus Lemke.
I didn't think it "rustic" as described elsewhere, just heavily decorated with wood and kind of fancy.Lots of great beer options! German traditional food, ompa music, great beer and great atmosphere, that's what you get here. The beer is excellent and available in the right variety, without falling into the annoying IPA-centric trend-trap. Find out what's popular at Brauhaus Lemke in Berlin, Berlin in real-time and see activity However, my small beer was pretty big.Run away from the tourist trap. This place isway from the nearby market, but under the train tracks so it can get a bit noisy. We had the beer sampler which really shows off their different brewing styles (€8). Was pretty standard German food, but the beer sampler was on the decent side but pricey. TUE – FRI: 1 PM – 10 PM. MON: 5 PM – 10 PM. A little more expensive then your typical Berlin bar, but it's worth it because of the quality. The space inside is a cozy feeling industrial vibe with big comfy seats in the back in what was probably the loading dock for the warehouse.
Our guests will find a relaxed atmosphere, traditional ambience, local cuisine and of … Untappd is committed to supporting your local restaurants, pubs, and breweries during the COVID-19 Health Crisis. Service was very quick and friendly in a fun German beer hall atmosphere.Friendly and fun but kind of felt like a tourist trap. All kinds of flavours. Service got a little slow once it got more crowded, but the staff was largely able to keep up.Nice brewry with quality house beers.
The spätzle was excellent and the Lemke's salad, delicious.I used to like their beers, but after the recent rebranding into some american style brewery making 'craft beers' they lost the charme they had.. Too bad actually! Steer away, or even better, stop somewhere else.Had a great meal for dinner after work underneath the railway in a cosy atmosphere and really enjoyed the beer quality that they deliver.Under the s-bahn you find this brewery in which you can relax and have their own beers. Nice to have an imperial IPA for a change! They have been awful with young students.
The gulash arrived almost cold. The biestube feel makes this a typical place to go if a tourist but I wouldn't call it a tourist trap. The garden is leafy and cool too. Alle Infos über Berlins angesagtes Szeneviertel, den Hackeschen Markt bei uns... Rund um Szeneläden, den Mix an Mode, Accessoires und Co.
